Fast-growing reality imaging technology firm hires Duncan Macrae for top financial position.
Edinburgh, U.K. – June 15, 2017 – NCTech, the developer of reality imaging systems, today that it has appointed Duncan Macrae as Chief Financial Officer.
Macrae assumes immediate responsibility for managing all of the company’s financial operations. He has a background in business and private equity and joins NCTech from the Business Growth Fund where he was responsible for investing in growing companies.
NCTech is currently undergoing a significant expansion as it supports the introduction of a range of new reality capture technologies for VR and AR applications, underpinned by key relationships with global technology giants like Google and Intel.
Macrae is a chartered accountant and an experienced Finance Director, investment director and non-executive director having held several executive director positions and non-executive director positions. He has extensive investment experience, both in growth capital and leveraged buyouts, and has guided numerous companies through investment, growth and exit.
