iris360 and Google Street View FAQs
Workflow and integration
If the files are stitched on-board how can I edit them?
iris360™ stitches the images automatically onboard the camera but can I stitch them using other software?
How can I capture the panoramic without being in the image myself?
There are 3 options for this.
1. Use the iris360 “50/50 mode”. This captures the images in two shots using only two lenses at a time and then automatically blends them together. This allows you to position yourself behind the lenses that are not capturing and then walk around the iris360 two capture the 2nd image.
2. Set the countdown timer on iris360 to capture allowing you enough time to leave the scene.
3. Use the remote control function to trigger iris360 from your tablet or smart phone.
About the HDR images, is it accomplished through bracketed exposures?
Can I create the HDR file and process it through a third party software in my computer?
Can the iris360™ be used for creating tours in PanoTour Pro?
Can you tell me if the panorama can be exported to other programs? I am currently using a roundshot vr drive and DSR to take the images and process interactivity in PanoTour Pro?
Google and Street View
Does it only work with Google?
Do I have to become a Google Business View Trusted Photographer to create my own tours and embed them on my own website?
Will iSTAR also be compatible with Street View?
Today with Business View I need to connect and adjust all panos in the software "pano editor" how does it work with this setup? You say streamlined workflow direct to street view, is all work done in your software?
If we have our own APP and platform can we configure this to talk and post content to these?
Yes, if you conform to the new Open Spherical Camera API: goo.gl/lXZlCp
